Select Correct Image Challenge Screen Update

Hi there,

We've just released an exciting update to the Select correct image challenge screen. The update includes inline editing, our SmartLayout™ grid system, and improved navigation for learners.

Question slides

Each question now appears as a seperate slide, with the next slide always visible, letting learners know there is more to come. Just to be sure, we've also added slide numbers.

Adjust the height of rows

SmartLayout™ allows you to click and drag between rows to increase the height of all rows to display larger images.

Fit and fill image options

Images added to this screen no longer need to be cropped. Just add an image, and it fills the allocated space. If you want to show the entire image, toggle the image fit option.

Other notable changes

This release includes intuitive inline editing so you can see exactly what the learner will see as you create the screen.

You can now re-order items from the advanced settings menu.

Accordion Screen — More Options, New Name!

The Acronym screen has been relaunched as the Accordion screen!

Along with the new name comes a bunch of new options to make it more useful across a whole range of use cases.

New icon options

To expand the use cases for the Accordion screen, we’ve added a number of new icon options that are displayed next to the item title. Prior to this release, users were forced to use it for displaying the first letter of the title to form an acronym. With the new icon options, you can choose common open/close icons to create a classic accordion style menu, or select the number option to display content in an ordered list.

Inline editing

Inline editing allows you to see exactly what you’re designing, no matter what device you’re on — desktop or smartphone.

SmartColor™

SmartColor™ has been introduced for the Accordion screen to automatically pick a different color for each individual item based on your primary workspace color.

If you don't want to use smart color, don’t worry, you can change each individual button color to be whatever you like!

We’ve Relaunched Mini-Site As Showcase!

We’ve just relaunched the Mini-Site screen template as Showcase! In addition to the new name, we’ve added a whole bunch of new functionality and options.

SmartLayout™

The SmartLayout™ flexible grid system gives you more control over how the screen is presented to your learners.

Adjust the number of columns

The grid system provides up to 6 columns — simply drag a slider to adjust the number of columns in your layout.

Adjust the height of rows

Click and drag between rows to increase the height of all rows to display larger images.

New banner feature

You can now choose to display a banner for each item allowing you to really showcase each item. To switch banners ON/OFF, click the advanced settings button and choose the display options menu.

You can also resize the banner height, by clicking and dragging the banner up or down.

Fit and fill image options

Images added to the showcase screen items no longer need to be cropped. Just add an image, and it fills the allocated space. If you want to show the entire image, toggle the image fit option. This allows the image to be used for both the banner and the item card without compromising image quality.

New Label options

Choose to display labels under each image, on hover, or none at all.

Sublists & SmartColor™ for Checklist Screen

We’ve just introduced sublists, SmartColor™, and new icon options for the Checklist screen for lessons.

Sublists

You can nest one list inside another by choosing the ‘Make sublist’ option from the context menu, or by clicking and dragging one item under another.

SmartColor™

The Checklist screen now automatically picks a different color for each individual list item based on your primary workspace color. To set a new base color, just click the advanced settings button to reveal the settings menu.

If you don't want to use  SmartColor™, you change each individual button color to be whatever you like!

Changing the icon style

You can now choose between 3 different icons styles; Check, Cross, or Number.

⚠️ Important News! Share Pages to Be Retired

Before today, if you wanted to export SCORM, or create a Share URL you would need to go to the 'Share' page. As part of our latest release, we've added all of this functionality to the resource library. In light of this, we will soon be retiring the existing share pages.

You will notice when visiting the share page that we've added a banner notifying our users that the page will soon be retiring. We encourage you to start using the resource library to export SCORM or create share/previewing so that you can provide feedback before we remove the share page altogether.

How to export SCORM or create a share/preview link from the resource library

If you wanted to export a SCORM object, or create a share/preview link for one of your lessons, select the 'Lessons' tab from within the resource library. Find the lesson you'd like to share, and from the context menu select the 'Share lesson' option.

From the modal window that appears, you'll find options to create a Share link, or export a SCORM object.

Once you've shared a lesson or quiz, a little yellow share icon will appear next to the resource title indicating that the resource has been shared.
